7 Quick Takes

--- 1 ---

I have been in a huge blogging rut lately. Forgive me for not keeping up with it. We are consumed with day to day life and the adoption drama. I will be posting again LOTS once I am a little more certain we can proceed.

--- 2 ---

Our agency is still fighting for us, and we are sending some stuff to Nico's country soon. This has renewed my faith that we will be able to continue, just a bit. Let me tell you, it's a lot nicer than sitting around waiting for something to happen and not knowing what the future holds.

Please pray for the families that are over there now fighting to get their kids. And please pray for a family that is heading over there early February for a court date. No one knows what will happen. We are praying for a miracle. These babies need to come home! They deserve families.

--- 4 ---

My kiddos have been passing around some sort of sickness this week. Charlotte got it the worst and she's still recovering. She screamed most of yesterday and I'm so sad for her. Hope she feels better soon.

This about sums up our week.

Today is the March for Life on DC. We usually go to the one in Phoenix, but this year they held a rally on a Tuesday and there was no way I could make it. Bummed...

What's sick and unsurprising is that the MSM is ignoring the HUGE march on DC as usual. 500,000 people at least, showed up to stand up for those babies.

Although our fundraising has come to a stop, we still have a few amazing people that believe in us and our FSP reached $4,000 yesterday! I am so grateful for these little ups in this very scary process.

Let's end with a funny, shall we?

Happy weekend!

  1. Actually, NBC covered it this year. Granted, they described the crowd as "tens of thousands" and they showed the counter-protest while interviewing one of the counter-protesters, but at least they acknowledged that it existed.

    1. Yes, I've seen it pop up here and there, but for the most part, it did not make news at all.
